Doubt is the fertile condition where the images grow. The work takes shape within hesitation, where decisions are tested rather than confirmed and form is allowed to shift before it stabilizes. Gestures surface, retract, and leave traces of their passage; some remain, others dissolve into the ground. Nothing settles too quickly. What appears resolved often carries the possibility of change.

The painting advances through pressure and adjustment. Each mark alters the balance of the whole, introducing a consequence that must be absorbed or resisted. What stays visible is the record of that negotiation.

The image holds its tension. It remains active, structurally open, and resistant to closure.
